Gordon Bay Marine is looking to add a forklift operator to our team. The following are some requirements of the position
- Full time, available to work weekdays, weekends, some holidays, and overtime.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, able to handle a large workload, and complete tasks efficiently.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, often dusty environment.
- Provide forklift assistance to all departments within the company.
- Preferred applicants will have a positive attitude, be energetic, hardworking, excel in communication, time management, and be reliable, dependable, and a team player.
- Required to load, unload, and move product of large weight and length in sometimes tight quarters with forklifts, tractors, trailers, as well as move and operate hydraulic trailers.
- Required to move some material by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Keep yard and workspace organized and departments moving, by having work lined up and removing completed jobs.
- Experience is required, steel-toed boots, a driver abstract, and rough terrain forklift training are required.
- Experience driving large rough terrain forklifts is a requirement.

Boat and Truck Driver
Gordon Bay Marine Ltd. is looking for a Driver. The following are some requirements of the position
- Experience driving pick up trucks, with trailers up to 40 feet is required.
- Have a valid Restricted A Ontario Driver's License.
- Have a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
- Have experience driving, docking, launching and loading large and small boats.
- Must be reliable, punctual, organized and able to work within tight deadlines
- Job type: Seasonal, Full time: 40.00 hours per week
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
- Must provide proof of licenses and a Driver's Abstract.
- Job Type: Full-time, Contract. Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Service Mechanic, Technician
Gordon Bay Marine Ltd. is looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to work in our Service bays, we are hiring for Full & Part Time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults, adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system parts.
- Preform scheduled service and maintenance, advise Service Writer of diagnosis, needed repairs, additional work needed, and cost estimate.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other dealership members, exhibit timeliness, positive attitude, punctuality, and meet deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on work preformed, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Area of specialization in watercraft, able to work on all motors from ATV, UTV, Snowmobile, Generator etc.
- Flexibility in scheduling, relevant Trade Certificate or Diploma required.

Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
- Enter all accounts payable invoices into IDS proper GL accounts.
- Work with manager to ensure payables are paid within the required deadlines, as well as taking advantage of purchasing discounts.
- Match up inventory Purchase orders to invoices.
- Print computerized cheques.
- Post manual cheques.
- Mail cheques to vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements to invoices monthly.
- Reconcile Credit card and Debit statements monthly.
- File A/P and A/R invoices
- Reconcile company credit card statements.
- Answer any Accounts Payable inquiries and resolve with vendor.
- Post customer payments to AR accounts, deposit cheques using remote deposit machine.
- Maintain customer files.
- Post daily till reconciliations.
- Email/ mail monthly customer statements
- Maintain a current AR, work with office manager as required
- Deal with customer inquires of customer invoices as well as discrepancies
- General Accounting Practices.
Other Responsibilities:
- Answering phones when required
- Assist Office Manager with other clerical duties.

Boat Cleaning Team Member
Responsible for cleaning and detailing customers boats and the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of All Gordon Bay Marine’s trucks, boats, Docks, Office Buildings and shops.
Responsibilities:
- Must arrive at work at the prescribed time each day, because tardiness and absences from work will place undue hardship on fellow team members and disrupt cleaning schedules.
- Perform various cleaning activities, to include scrubbing boat hulls, acid wash boats, pressure wash interior and exterior of boats, vacuum carpets, polishing chrome, boat waxing and detailing, other secondary activities will include cleaning bathrooms, and including washing floors, vacuuming carpets, washing carpets, docks, dusting, polishing and other cleaning-related activities in accordance with instructions given by the Team Supervisor.
- Report any broken items, accidents or injuries promptly to the Team Supervisor
- Secure boats at docks properly, make sure the boats have bumpers and are not touching each other to eliminate any damage to boats.
- Report any emergency maintenance problems to include toilets and other water fixtures to the Team Supervisor immediately.
- Wear appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment in accordance with the job you are performing.
- Master specific cleaning techniques of the company based on time and motion. Work smarter, not harder.
- Attend and participate in meetings as requested by the Team Supervisor.
- Study and adhere to safety procedures as established in the company's Employee Handbook.
- Communicate effectively & professionally with team members, manager and clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned (Flexibility is a Must)
- This is a seasonal position and flexibility of schedule is a must. We operate 7 days a week and the hours are variable.
